As the Head of IT, you'll be the central leader responsible for the stability, scalability and security of Retail Media Operations. You will own the uptime of our vast, customer-facing network of in-store devices. You will manage the entire lifecycle of this hardware, from large-scale customer rollouts to end-of-life. You won't be just managing an IT department; you'll be running the technical operations for a distributed, physical-world media network, you will build and lead the teams and processes that guarantee our solutions "just work."
This is a hybrid position with three days per week in our Berlin office (at Alexanderplatz).
Oversee and consolidate IT operations, infrastructure (network, servers, cloud) and security policies for Retail Media.
Collaborate with the internal corporate IT support teams, ensuring our employees have the secure and efficient tools they need (e.g., O365, ERP, CRM, identity management)
Develop and execute a long-term IT strategy that supports business scalability, M&A integration, and robust security compliance (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR)
Lead the strategy and execution for large-scale hardware rollouts to our customer locations (retail stores), managing the configuration of the devices
Implement and manage robust remote monitoring and Mobile Device Management (MDM) systems for our entire fleet of distributed devices
Own the uptime: Design, implement and enforce strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for all production devices and systems
Build and lead a world-class incident management process. You will be the chief escalation point for any service-degrading issue
Ensure rapid detection, escalation, root-cause analysis (RCA) and resolution for all incidents
Establish and manage a clear communication protocol for all stakeholders (internal leadership, account managers and customers) during critical incidents
Lead, mentor and grow a high-performing, multi-disciplinary team of IT professionals (covering internal support, network engineering and field operations)
Manage the IT budget, including forecasting for hardware procurement, software licensing and operational services
Drive a culture of continuous improvement, proactive problem-solving and operational excellence
