About Us

We are seeking a “Head of Global EHS (m / w / d)” to define and govern the global strategy for Environment, Health, and Safety.

The role focuses on defining the global EHS strategy and enabling the organization to apply these frameworks effectively while fostering a proactive safety culture and driving continuous improvement.

As head of Global EHS, you will lead international teams and act as a strategic partner, shaping a safe, healthy, and sustainable working environment across all global locations. The position reports directly to the Management Board.

Your Contribution
  • Define and align the global EHS strategy with corporate goals.
  • Advise senior management on risks, opportunities, and measures for improvement.
  • Develop and enforce global EHS policies, ensuring compliance through audits, inspections, and performance monitoring across all sites.
  • Identify and mitigate environmental and operational risks; ensure adherence to legal and internal standards.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture and integrate EHS into daily business operations worldwide.
  • Foster continuous improvement in EHS performance and facilitate best‑practice sharing across all company locations.
  • Lead and develop a global EHS team.
Your Profile
  • University degree (Master) in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field. Additional qualification as “Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit (SiFa)” desired.
  • Minimum 8 years in a comparable management position.
  • Practical experience in production, process optimisation and change management.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to drive change in a cross‑functional, multinational matrix environment.
  • Strategic thinking and analytical skills, excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Fluency in English and German.
