Head of Future Programs EO Payloads (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

• Acquisition of projects that are implemented in the early phases of projects or programmes (“Future Programmes”)
• Drawing up and management of offers for future projects within the programme area
• Taking over the function of head of research in the early phases of future projects within the programme area
• Ensuring continuity across the project phases 0/A and B/C/D
• Coordination and adjustment of the business preparation and research activities together with Marketing & Sales, Business Development and Predevelopment
• Providing support in the compilation of a strategic business plan for the programme area “Earth Observation”
• Professional management of the organisational unit
• Planning and coordination of the tasks in cooperation with the required specialist departments
• Reporting to the Earth Observation Programme Manager

Your Qualifications

• Successfully completed engineering degree or comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in the area of space travel, with a focus on earth observation
• Several years of experience in the preparation of offers (A/B/C/D) and A/B research and C/D project management
• Experience in the areas of Business Planning, Marketing & Sales
• Good spoken and written English proficiency
• Sound knowledge of the usual MS Office Tools
• Willingness to travel
• A high degree of communicative and management skills, the ability to work in a team and a sense of responsibility and entrepreneurial thinking
• The ability to quickly familiarise yourself with new areas of responsibility, negotiation skills, flexibility and efficient, independent working methods
