Job summary

Famedly GMBH is seeking a Head of Engineering to lead a ~30-strong team and partner with the Head of Product to shape the roadmap, capacity planning and delivery for enterprise-grade software. You will drive reliable delivery, mentorship, and a secure, compliant development lifecycle across all projects.

In this leadership role you’ll own budgeting, attract and retain top engineers, and coordinate with stakeholders across sales and customer success.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience leading engineering teams, including team leads.
• Experience delivering and operating software reliably for enterprise customers.
• A strong technical background with modern practices such as CI/CD, automated testing and DevOps.
• You translate between business and technology, explain trade-offs clearly and make decisions under uncertainty.
• A people-centered leadership style and joy in helping people grow.
• Openness to new technologies and ways of working.
• German language skills at C1 level and fluent English.

• Be the point of contact for stakeholders: leadership, sales, customer success and, on large projects, customers

Head of Engineering (m/f/d)

You lead our engineering team of currently around 30 engineers and report to our top management. You make sure we deliver reliably, attract and keep great people, and grow as an organization.

Your responsibilities
