• Degree in business administration, business informatics, computer science or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of experience in data management, governance, process management or transformation.
• Proven experience in establishing governance structures and managing cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong understanding of organisational structures, responsibilities and complex stakeholder environments.
• Ability to align diverse interests and develop sustainable, workable solutions.
• Excellent facilitation, communication and influencing skills.
• Strategic mindset combined with a pragmatic and results-orientated approach.
• Fluent in German and English.

At our location in Wedel near Hamburg, we are looking for a Head of Data Office (all genders).

About the Role

For the establishment of our Data Office, you will create governance structures, ensure transparency and coordinate collaboration between the relevant functions across the organisation.

You will not be responsible for operational data work. Instead, you will ensure that the right stakeholders work together effectively, that decisions are made transparently and can be traced and that a company-wide framework for data management is established. Functional and operational responsibility remains with the respective business functions and subject matter experts.

• Ability to align diverse interests and develop sustainable, workable solutions
• Excellent facilitation, communication and influencing skills
