Zusammenfassung

Contorion, Germany's leading online supplier for trades and industry, seeks a capable accounting leader to run and grow the accounting team. You will prepare key financial statements in collaboration with internal staff and external service providers while driving process automation in Oracle Fusion.

The role requires leadership experience, strong German VAT/HGB knowledge, and fluent English with German at least B2. Hybrid work and part-time options support work-life balance.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in business or relevant qualification, or training in financial accounting.
• Several years of accounting experience, with leadership experience.
• Experience using Oracle in accounting.
• Solid knowledge of German accounting (HGB) and VAT regulations.
• Analytical, structured and detail-oriented with teamwork and initiative.
• Fluent in English; German skills at least B2.

Aufgaben

• Lead, manage, and develop the accounting team.

• Oversee all accounting processes, streamline and automate Oracle Fusion-based processes.

Your Tasks

• You will lead, manage, and develop the accounting team.
• You will prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in collaboration with the accounting team and external service providers.
• You are accountable for all accounting processes, streamlining and automating the Oracle Fusionbased processes.
• You will identify opportunities for improvement and lead projects on special accounting topics.
• You will develop and improve financial reporting and management tools.
• You are the key communicator for the external stakeholders, such as auditors and tax consultants.

Your Profile

• You have successfully completed a degree in business or a relevant further qualification, or training in financial accounting, balance sheet accounting, tax consulting, or similar.
• You have several years of experience in accounting, with several years in a leadership role.
• You already have experience using Oracle in accounting.
• You have solid knowledge of German accounting (HGB) and tax regulations (especially VAT).
• You possess excellent analytical skills, a structured and detailoriented way of working, as well as teamwork and initiative.
• You are fluent in English, with German language skills of at least B2.
