Overview

The Strategy Lead - Growth is a high-impact role focused on defining and executing the strategic initiatives that drive accelerated GMV growth, market expansion, and operational excellence across a regional or functional area. You will work closely with executive leadership to identify new growth vectors, optimize existing go-to-market strategies, and translate high-level objectives into concrete, measurable projects. You own strategic initiatives end-to-end: You drive efforts with steadfast focus until objectives are met.

This role requires a strong analytical foundation, deep knowledge of GTM playbooks, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams (Sales, Product, Operations).

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Market Expansion

  • Define and execute the growth strategy for a specific market or area, focusing on expanding market share and GMV.
  • Identify, analyze, and scope new verticals, strategic partnerships, or product-mix opportunities to unlock significant growth.
  • Design and lead strategic projects that optimize key business levers such as pricing models, demand generation channels, and product-market fit refinement.
  • Serve as the strategic partner to cross-functional leaders to align efforts across Product, Sales, and Operations for maximum growth impact.
  • Provide deep, data-driven market intelligence and insights to leadership on emerging trends, competitive dynamics, and performance drivers.

Growth Operations & Analytics

  • Drive the improvement of scalable operational processes across the commercial organization to boost efficiency and pipeline velocity.
  • Collaborate with Revenue Operations and Sales leaders to refine Go-To-Market playbooks, increasing speed, visibility, and profitability per transaction.
  • Oversee the strategic analysis of pipeline health, providing recommendations to ensure accurate forecasting and optimal deal progression.
  • Design and monitor key growth metrics (KPIs) and dashboards, ensuring alignment with overall company goals and sales rhythms.
  • Partner with Product and Tech teams to identify and implement improvements to AI-assisted sales workflows and internal growth tooling.

Team Influence & Coaching

  • Act as a strategic thought leader and coach, helping regional teams translate strategy into tactical, measurable daily execution.
  • Model a high-energy, data-driven culture, challenging teams to achieve speed, precision, and continuous improvement.
  • Support leadership in driving high-performance behaviors and disciplined execution rhythms across key growth metrics.

Success Measures

  • Strategic initiatives you lead demonstrably contribute to overachieving regional or functional GMV growth targets.
  • Forecasting and pipeline quality improve significantly due to your analytical recommendations and process implementations.
  • New growth vectors (e.g., partnerships, product mixes) are successfully launched and start contributing meaningfully to overall business performance.
  • You build a reputation as the go-to expert for data-driven growth insights and strategic execution.

Who You Are

  • 3+ years of experience in Strategy Consulting, Business Operations, or Growth Strategy roles within a high-growth B2B/tech company.
  • Proven track record of independently defining and driving complex, cross‑functional growth initiatives.
  • Strong commercial acumen: analytical skills focused on unit economics, LTV/CAC, and growth modeling.
  • Exceptional ability to synthesize complex data into clear strategic recommendations for executive leadership.
  • Thrives in a fast‑paced, office‑only environment with daily execution rhythms.
  • Fluent in English; fluency in German, French, or Italian is a strong plus.
