Overview
As Group Director, Client Services, you will lead a growing team responsible for delivering best‑in‑class influencer marketing campaigns and client service across the German market. This role sits at the intersection of client leadership, operational excellence, team building, and commercial growth. You will ensure the Client Services function is structured, resourced, and operating effectively to support both existing partnerships and future business growth, collaborating with teams across Europe including Commercial, Creative Strategy, Measurement, Paid Media, Product, and Operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of 10+ Client Services members, ensuring high delivery standards, client satisfaction, and long‑term retention.
- Own strategic ownership of team structure, resource planning, and operational efficiency to support growth across existing and new clients.
- Makes organisational and personnel decisions to build a team with the right skills, expertise, and seniority.
- Oversee hiring, onboarding, and development, identifying capability gaps and implementing training plans.
- Nurture key client relationships as a senior strategic partner, maintaining exceptional service standards across all workstreams.
- Support the Commercial team on pitches and growth opportunities, providing operational, strategic, costing, timeline, and feasibility input.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams across Europe, delivering integrated solutions and improving ways of working.
- Proactively contribute ideas and feedback to improve internal systems, workflows, reporting, and overall efficiency.
- Lead resource forecasting, budget management, and cost tracking to deliver against scope and profitability targets.
- Maintain oversight of campaign delivery standards, managing escalations across timelines, budgets, scope, or client concerns.
- Operate as a calm, highly organised, and effective leader capable of managing multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast‑paced environment.
- Foster a collaborative, positive, and solutions‑oriented team culture through strong communication and leadership by example.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Client Services, influencer marketing, social, media, creative, or integrated agency environments.
- Significant experience in leading and developing high‑performing client‑facing teams.
- Strong operational and organisational leadership experience, including resource planning, forecasting, team structuring, and delivery management.
- Proven experience managing senior client relationships and driving long‑term client growth and retention.
- Strong commercial understanding, with experience supporting pitches, scoping projects, evaluating feasibility, and managing budgets.
- Experience working cross‑functionally with strategy, paid media, measurement, product, and creative teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, remaining calm and solutions‑focused under pressure.
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and strong financial and operational management capabilities.
- Collaborative, personable, and proactive leadership style.
- Comfortable operating within a fast‑paced, evolving business environment.
- Experience in influencer marketing is strongly preferred.
