A leading freelance project platform is seeking a Google Cloud Platform Expert to join a project starting as soon as possible. The role requires expertise in GCP, Terraform, and Java, along with the ability to guide and train a team. Candidates should be available for onsite meetings in Saxony once a month. Qualifikationen

• Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
• Proficiency in coding with Java and Spring Boot.

• Define the repository structure for the team's projects.
• Create Terraform workspaces and scripts for cloud infrastructure.
• Implement compliance requirements using Sentinel policies.
• Provide training and hands-on sessions for the team.
• Support proof of concept (PoC) initiatives with sample projects.

We are currently looking for a Google Cloud Platform Expert (f / m / x).

Tasks

• Define the repository structure
• Create Terraform workspaces and scripts
• Implement compliance requirements using Sentinel policies
• Enable the team through trainings, hands‑on sessions, and a playground project
• Support a proof of concept (PoC), including a sample project using Spring Boot

Project Information

• Start: As soon as possible
• Duration: 01.2026
• Remote: Yes
• Location: Ideally available for onsite meetings in Saxony, Germany once per month.
• Languages: English (+ German nice to have, but not mandatory)
• Workload: Full-time (at least 4 days per week)
• Contract: Project / Freelance
• Rate: Please indicate your desired hourly rate in Euro based on the information above.
