Zusammenfassung

DigiTech Search in Munich is seeking a GNC Engineer to design and implement guidance, navigation and control algorithms for advanced space systems. You will work across modelling, simulation and hardware validation, with a focus on real-time control and embedded environments.

The role requires 3+ years in GNC engineering, strong MATLAB/Simulink experience, Python and C/C++, and exposure to system identification, stability analysis and SIL/HIL testing.

Qualifikationen

Join a fast-growing German space technology company developing next-generation spacecraft, optical communication systems and advanced space hardware.

They are looking for engineers with strong experience across Guidance, Navigation & Control to work on the development of high-performance control systems for complex space applications.

This is a highly technical role with a strong focus on control algorithm development, modelling and simulation. You will work across the full engineering lifecycle, from system design and controller development through to implementation, testing and hardware validation.

Key responsibilities:

• Designing and developing Guidance, Navigation and Control algorithms for advanced space systems
• Developing control algorithms for Pointing, Acquisition & Tracking systems
• Creating mathematical models and simulations of dynamic systems and control architectures
• Performing system identification, stability analysis, controller design and optimisation
• Developing and validating control algorithms using MATLAB / Simulink and Python
• Implementing algorithms within embedded and real-time control environments
• Supporting SIL, HIL and system-level testing
• Collaborating closely with embedded software, electronics, systems and optical engineering teams

Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional experience within Guidance, Navigation & Control Engineering
• Strong knowledge of classical and modern control theory
