Job summary

Merz Aesthetics GmbH in Frankfurt am Main seeks a qualified Quality Management professional for a 24-month, 50% FTE assignment focused on global distribution partners, GDP compliance, and evolving quality systems.

You will qualify partners, support audits and product releases, manage data, and collaborate across regions while using MS Office and SAP, ensuring regulatory standards and traceable records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Quality Management.
• Experience with GxP, GDP, and quality management systems.
• Fluent in English; German communication preferred.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office; SAP IM/SD is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess, qualify, and evaluate global distribution partners and maintain related databases.
• Support distributor qualification, audit questionnaires, distributor evaluations, and product release activities.
• Contribute to the implementation and continuous improvement of quality initiatives for global distribution processes.
• Assess GDP-related deviations and quality events and report them.
• Oversee GDP-related operational activities: product release, returns, stock control, records.
• Support SOP updates, EQMS processes, and training to maintain quality systems.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, affiliates, and partners across regions.

This role is limited to 24 month and a part-time position (50%).

The following responsibilities are awaiting you:

• You assess, qualify, and evaluate global distribution partners while maintaining databases related to service scope, qualification status, and contractual compliance.
• You support distribution partner qualification, audit questionnaires, distributor evaluations, and product release activities to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• You contribute to the implementation and continuous improvement of quality initiatives and projects related to global distribution processes.
• You support the assessment, tracking, trending, and reporting of GDP-related deviations and quality events.
• You oversee and support GDP-related operational activities, ensuring compliant product release, efficient return management, effective stock control, thorough customer eligibility verification, and the maintenance of complete, accurate, and traceable records.
• You support SOP updates, EQMS processes, and training activities to maintain compliant and effective quality systems.
• You work closely with internal stakeholders, affiliates, and distribution partners to support quality and compliance activities across the global supply chain.
• You provide support for additional quality and supply chain initiatives as assigned.

What we expect from you:

• You hold a Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Medical Health, or a comparable field, or you bring equivalent professional experience.
• You have 3+ years of experience in Quality Management within a pharmaceutical, healthcare, medical device, or other regulated environment.
• You have experience working with GxP regulations, GDP requirements, and quality management systems.
• You are confident managing, maintaining, and evaluating quality-related data and databases.
• You are fluent in English and preferably able to communicate in German; additional languages are an advantage.
• You have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications; experience with SAP IM and SAP SD is a plus.
• You demonstrate excellent organizational skills and a structured, detail-oriented working style.
• You are comfortable working in an international environment and collaborating effectively with colleagues, partners, and stakeholders across different regions and cultures.
• You are a reliable, resilient, and trustworthy team player with a strong quality mindset.
