Qualifikationen

• Experience sourcing packaging materials (packaging, rigid plastics, glass, labels, cartons).
• Proven track record of supplier negotiations and delivering measurable cost savings.
• Strong analytical, financial, and contract management skills.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing abilities.

• Lead supplier performance management through KPIs, scorecards, audits, and business reviews.
• Support sustainability objectives by sourcing environmentally responsible packaging solutions and reducing environmental impact.
• Manage supplier risk assessments, business continuity planning, and supply chain resilience initiatives.
• Build and maintain market intelligence on packaging technologies, materials, and supplier landscapes across global markets.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Global Sourcing Manager (m/f/d) – FocusPackaging to lead the development and execution of our global packaging sourcing strategy. This role is responsible for identifying, evaluating, negotiating, and managing packaging suppliers worldwide to ensure the best combination of quality, cost, innovation, sustainability, and supply reliability. In addition, the focus is on the further development and digitalization of processes in order to meet the demands of a global procurement environment.
