Freudenberg Group in Germany is seeking a Global IT Specialist – Cyber Security (f/m/d) to strengthen our IT security and risk posture across FHCS. You will partner with the IT Security team and stakeholders to implement resilient security measures globally.

Responsibilities include shaping our cyber security strategy, evaluating new technologies with the SOC, and driving compliance, incident response, and KPI-based improvements across the organization.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Business Informatics, CS, or a comparable field.
• Extensive experience in IT infrastructure, cloud tech, and IT security.
• Familiarity with Microsoft tech stack is a plus.
• Analytical mindset and strong stakeholder management.
• Fluent business English; German language skills are a welcome bonus.

• Lead FHCS IT security and elevate global cyber security posture.
• Evaluate emerging technologies with the security operations center to advance resilience.
• Advise stakeholders across Freudenberg Group in IT security initiatives.

Global IT Specialist – Cyber Security (f/m/d)

Responsibilities

• Lead with purpose: together with our team you manage and drive the FHCS IT security and enhance global cyber security posture to the next level
• Shape the future: You evaluate emerging Technolgies together with our security operation center to drive our cyber security resilient forward.
• Be a trusted advisor: You engage and consult with Key stakeholders in our multi-international team and your peers in Freudenberg Group
• Enable continuous improvement: You consult on IT security and compliance initiatives, ensuring risk mitigation and optimization across FHCS operations.
• Make an impact with insights: You monitor and analyze key security and compliance KPIs to ensure ongoing adherence to internal and external standards.
• Standardize response excellence: You define, document, and improve incident response policies, workflows, and playbooks to ensure standardized, effective, and compliant handling in line with regulatory and business needs.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, or a comparable field—along with a passion for IT security and innovation.
• Profound professional experience in IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, and IT security. Familiarity with the Microsoft tech stack is a plus.
• Analytical mindset, Collaborative Spirit and talent for stakeholder management round up the profile
• Knowledge of project management methods and first experience is desirable.
• Strong communication skills paired with business-fluent English. German language skills are a welcome bonus.
