Siemens AG is seeking a Global ID and Access Control Lead to oversee global ID card production, governance, and access control services across Siemens Real Estate hubs worldwide. You will manage card production, vendor relationships, and ensure GDPR and physical security compliance while driving continuous improvement and innovative solutions.

Fluency in English is required; German is advantageous. A bachelor’s degree in a related field and security certifications are desirable for this

• Strong knowledge of data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR), physical security principles, and identity verification processes.
• Vendor and supplier management experience, including service contracts and technology integration projects.
• Track record of developing and enforcing governance standards and maintaining compliance frameworks.
• Familiarity with process improvement initiatives and the ability to automate workflows for operational efficiency.
• Proficiency in using digital tools, including SAP and reporting technologies like Power BI.

Aufgaben

• ID Card Services Management: Global management of SRE ID Card offices, overseeing production and supply of Siemens ID cards.
• Oversee relationships with internal LRAs and external vendors for card printing and encoding.
• Monitor service performance, including production volumes, lead times, quality issues, and costs.
• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations, identity verification, and physical security requirements.
• Develop and optimize card production procedures, workflows, and governance controls.
• Provide training and guidance to local teams involved in ID card issuance.
• Orchestrate global card lifecycle management (ordering process).
• Access Control Oversight: supervise Siemens' access control services delivered by Smart Infrastructure, ensure contract compliance.
• Monitor performance, address quality issues, optimize costs.
• Define and enhance access control policies, workflows, governance standards.
• Identify and integrate advanced security technologies with blueprints for Siemens' environment.
• Provide training and technical support for access control implementation.

As Global ID and Access Control Lead (f/m/d), you will oversee Siemens’ global ID card supply and access control services. This critical role bridges global governance, vendor management and local operational needs to ensure a consistent approach to security standardization and customer satisfaction. Reporting to the Head of Security, you will drive compliance, promote continuous improvement and deliver innovative solutions across Siemens Real Estate hubs worldwide.

You’ll make an impact by:

• ID Card Services Management:

  • Acting as a touchpoint for innovation by identifying and integrating advanced security technologies, supported by blueprints for Siemens' environment
  • Providing training, guidance, and technical support to local teams for access control implementation and management
• Standardization and Innovation:
  • Driving the alignment of security services globally by promoting cohesive policies and introducing innovative solutions
  • Identifying new technologies to improve ID and access systems, creating industry-leading security standards at Siemens
  • Reporting on operational improvements, compliance risks, and strategic opportunities to senior stakeholders
• Global Collaboration:
  • Facilitating effective communication and collaboration with Hub Security Leads, customers, and suppliers across multiple regions
  • Supporting local and regional teams to handle day-to-day operational tasks while maintaining a standardized global governance framework
  • Building strong relationships with vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery
