Overview

For our client, a famous company in the semiconductor sector, we are looking for a Global Data Analyst (m/f/d) in Böblingen.

Responsibilities

• As part of the global transformation, you will shape our global data model and support all business transformation projects with their data requirements.
• Act as a data analyst on transformation projects to support the business users as well as our partners and suppliers.
• Collect business requirements and develop proposals on how to fulfil them.
• Analyze business data, identify data quality issues and possible solutions.
• Develop data and KPI definitions and implement these into our global data catalog.
• Support development of a scalable integrated data architecture to strengthen and enhance our Digital Twin of the organization.
• Support business users on data ownership and data quality processes and drive a data driven culture and mentality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or comparable.
• Experience working as part of project team on transformations in Operations and Supply Chain Management or Human Resources and Finance.
• Solid experience with data analysis and data quality initiatives.
• Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques; Microsoft Azure knowledge is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Power BI etc), databases (SQL etc), programming (Python, XML, or ETL frameworks).
• Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc).
• Good communication and collaboration skills in a global environment.
• Good knowledge of English is a must, written and spoken. German and Japan is a plus.
• Self-starter with analytical mindset, ability to delve into technical details as well as manage key business stakeholders.
• Experience in understanding how data supports solid processes and hence adds business value is a must have core skill.
