Responsibilities

As Category Manager – Corporate Services, you will be responsible for the strategic procurement and end‑to‑end category management of Professional Services such as HR, Legal, IT Services, Consulting, Travel and Facility Management across our global organization. You will develop and implement a comprehensive category strategy, manage key suppliers and commercial agreements, and ensure cost‑efficient, innovative, and future‑oriented procurement decisions. In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders from HR, Legal, IT and Finance to understand requirements, optimise total cost of ownership and drive value across the organisation. You will lead complex sourcing initiatives, negotiate high‑impact contracts, and support the global procurement strategy with market insights, risk management and continuous improvement.

  • Identify and drive cost reduction, process efficiency, and value creation initiatives across global, regional, and site‑level for HR, Legal, IT Services and Finance categories.
  • Contribute to high‑impact strategic projects with visibility at executive level and help shape a future‑oriented procurement landscape.
  • Develop and implement category procurement strategies in close collaboration with global stakeholders such as IT, Finance, Legal.
  • Manage and lead complex contract negotiations.
  • Support the integration of sustainability, compliance, and risk management into procurement decisions and supplier selection processes.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define requirements, align sourcing strategies with business needs, and ensure smooth execution.
  • Monitor market trends, supplier performance, innovation, and risk factors to continuously improve the supplier base and overall category performance.
  • Ensure full adherence to global procurement policies, governance standards, and contribute to the improvement of tools, processes, and best practices.
Requirements
Professional Experience & Expertise
  • Extensive professional experience (at least 3‑5 years) in Strategic Procurement and Category Management, preferably in HR / Legal / IT Services Categories.
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing processes and supplier management.
  • Proven ability to manage complex supplier contracts and negotiations at a regional or global level.
  • Experience in driving cost optimisation, efficiency improvements, and supporting category strategy implementation.
  • Excellent negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Strong competence in analysing spend numbers, structure projects, and communicating progress to stakeholders and the management.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across organisational units and functions, and build strong and trust‑ful relationships with internal stakeholders as well as with key suppliers.
  • Capable of communicating complex procurement topics clearly and persuasively.
