Responsibilities

• Perform GL month-end closing and posting of journals such as provisions, accruals, deferrals, reclassifications
• Work closely with other team members to ensure all financials are reported correctly and on time.
• Prepare monthly reporting, cash forecast and group reporting.
• Prepare monthly Balance Sheet reconciliation and investigate any unusual item.
• Ensure compliance to company policies and maintain strong internal controls.
• Prepare audit schedules and manage the entire audit process.
• Finalization of Financial Reports and ensure all statutory reporting comply with, including statistical surveys.
• Tax compliance - GST, Withholding Tax, Corporate Tax, Transfer Pricing.
• Prepare corporate tax information for tax agent to complete tax computation and filing.
• Perform variance analysis and manage costs accruals/ provisions.
• Work closely with FP&A team to assist in budgeting, forecasting and analysis.
• Calculation of sales incentive and submit to HR for payroll submission.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and local government bureaus as required.
• Collaborating with internal departments to gather, analyze, and provide financial information/recommendation.
• Drive continuous process improvement, SOP and ad-hoc projects such as new system implementation.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as required

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or ACCA qualified
• At least 5 years in GL accounting and reporting
• Strong knowledge of SAP
• Strong Excel knowledge plus MS Office
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational and time management skills
• Dynamic, fast learner ability to work in fast paced environment.
