Ignite Travel Group seeks a (Senior) ERP Finance Consultant / Project Manager to lead full-lifecycle ERP finance rollouts across the DACH region. You will bridge accounting processes and technical architecture, drive data migrations, system launches, and post‑go-live optimization while traveling ~30% and maintaining two monthly Ottobrunn office days.

The role requires 5+ years with Dynamics NAV/Business Central, strong German (C1+) and working English, and a client‑focused project leadership

• Strong functional grasp of accounting and finance operations (GL, AP, AR, FA, Costing).
• Experience in data migrations, interface architecture, and end-to-end testing.
• High-level German skills (C1+) for client leadership, plus strong written and verbal English.
• Willingness to travel ~30% in DACH and attend monthly Ottobrunn office days.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle ERP finance rollouts and process optimizations for mid-market clients.
• Analyze client financial workflows, define goals, and design end-to-end target processes.
• Conceptualize functional system designs with clients and developers.
• Configure Finance modules (GL, AP, AR, Asset Management, Cost Accounting) in Dynamics 365 BC / NAV.
• Manage data conversion, API integrations, testing, and quality management.
• Lead workshops, train staff, support go-live, and ensure post-launch stability.
• Support presales with scope estimation, timelines, and proposals.

In this position, you will bridge accounting processes and technical system architecture, helping clients seamlessly navigate target designs, data migration, system launches, and ongoing optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Leadership: Guide full-cycle ERP finance rollouts and process optimizations for client organizations in the mid-market space.
• Process Analysis & Design: Evaluate client financial workflows, outline operational goals, and build refined end-to-end target processes.
• Solution Architecture: Conceptualize functional system designs working side‑by‑side with clients and internal development engineers.
• ERP Configuration: Tailor and set up key Finance modules (General Ledger, AP, AR, Asset Management, Cost Accounting) on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central / NAV.
• Data Integration & Testing: Manage data conversion, API/interface integrations, system test phases, and quality management.
• Workshops & Training: Lead interactive customer workshops, deliver staff training sessions, support go‑live execution, and secure post‑launch stability.
• Presales & Solutions: Help drive presales by shaping project scope, estimating timelines, drafting proposals, and helping improve internal finance modules.

Key Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years of practical background in ERP finance consulting or project execution using Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central.
• Domain Expertise: Strong functional grasp of business accounting and finance operations (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cost Accounting).
• Technical Integration: Practical proficiency in managing data migrations, interface architecture, and end‑to‑end system testing.
• Language Skills: High‑level German skills (minimum C1+ required) for client leadership, paired with strong written and verbal capabilities.
• Soft Skills & Mobility: Well‑organized project delivery, client‑first perspective, strong emotional intelligence, dynamic problem‑solving drive, willingness to travel ~30% in DACH, and attendance at 2 monthly office days in Ottobrunn.

• Background working with controlling tools, Power BI reports, or other business management software.
