Your mission

We are seeking an experienced Geophysical Solution Engineer (F / M / D) with a strong marine geophysics background and deep expertise in hydroacoustic and marine survey methods to join our software development team. In this unique role, you will bring your domain knowledge directly into the core of our product development helping us build state-of-the-art software solutions for processing, interpreting, and validating complex geophysical and geospatial datasets.

Although we do not conduct surveys ourselves, your in-depth understanding of marine geophysics will directly influence the next generation of workflow automation, data quality assurance tooling, and analysis algorithms used by professionals worldwide.

You will work closely with our software engineers, product teams, and client-facing departments to design, improve, and validate end-to-end processing workflows. You will also take on a visible role in client engagements, collaborating with customers to translate their technical challenges into impactful software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Control of Data Processing

  • Test and verify the quality of data processing workflows using diverse datasets and sensor types
  • Document and report technical bugs and issues related to data quality
  • Maintain and update both internal and external documentation
  • Coordinate with the Developer Teams

Product Development & Delivery

  • Develop, validate, and automate processing workflows for marine geophysical and geospatial data (e.g. multibeam,lidar)
  • Perform data processing and analysis for demos, support cases, and client requests
  • Collect, document and report client feedback to guide future product development
  • Coordinate with the Revenue Team and Developer Team

Client-Facing Technical Role

  • Participation in client calls, onboardings, conferences / exhibitions, and technical workshops
  • Consult with clients to understand their technical needs and design appropriate processing solutions
  • Coordinate with the Revenue Team.
Your profile
  • Master’s degree (or higher) in Geophysics, Physics, Earth Sciences, or a related discipline
  • Experience and strong understanding of marine geophysical survey methods and data processing workflows, including multibeam echosounders, sub-bottom profilers, side-scan sonars, and magnetometers.
  • Experience or strong affinity for software development, data analysis, or scientific programming (e.g., Python, Java)
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across interdisciplinary teams
  • Motivation to learn new technologies, tools, and methods within software development and geospatial data processing
  • Independent, structured work style with the ability to adapt to evolving project requirements.
