We are permanently looking for a Genomics Sales Account Manager (m/w/d) (home-office based with frequent travel (70%) across your territory and to Eurofins Genomics production sites (Germany, few times per year)).

Responsibilities
  • Increase sales in all genomics services (e.g. NGS, Sanger sequencing, oligos, gene synthesis, microarray, genotyping, custom projects) in the market areas of agrigomics, environmental & food genomics, biopharma genomics and personal genomics
  • Establish and maintain a sales pipeline: identify new projects and business opportunities
  • Regular reporting (sales analysis, forecasting, competitive analysis) and intensive use of CRM
  • Close cooperation with account managers and specialists to ensure an excellent customer experience
  • Involvement of technical experts for optimal project solutions
  • Passing on market and customer feedback to internal teams
  • Implementation of the sales strategy in coordination with the Regional Sales Manager
  • Organisation of regional customer events
  • Conducting product presentations and providing advice on genomics solutions
Profile

Residence in the area, ideally in the Berlin region

Completed degree (BSc or higher) in a relevant scientific subject

In-depth knowledge of genomics applications and analysis methods

Independent, goal-oriented approach to work – including when working from home

Hunter mentality

Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills

Team player with high integrity and initiative

Business fluent written and spoken German and English
