Walmart Supercenter #498 in Jena, LA is hiring a part-time General merchandise associate. You will greet customers on the sales floor, assist them, and recommend merchandise based on their needs; you will also help maintain Hobbies & Home Improvement displays and may perform paint mixing and fabric cutting.

Available shifts include Mid-Shift and Closing. This role offers a comprehensive benefits package and eligibility for performance-based incentives.

Hourly Wage: $14 - $27 per/hour

*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Job Overview

General merchandise associates greet customers on the salesfloor, offer them assistance and recommend merchandise based on the customer's wants and needs. They also ensure Hobbies & Home Improvement displays are maintained and in proper order throughout day. Paint mixing and fabric cutting may be required.
