We are currently supporting one of our clients, a fast-growing and innovative company within the advertising and entertainment sector in their search for a General Legal Counsel to join their dynamic team in either Berlin or Munich

As Legal Counsel, you'll play a pivotal role in guiding the business through a wide range of legal matters, working closely with senior leadership and helping shape the legal strategy of a company that's not just growing fast but growing smart.

What You'll Do

• Advise cross-functional teams on a wide range of legal topics, enabling the business to move fast and responsibly
• Partner with top management to assess legal risks and provide sound, business-oriented solutions
• Own the contract lifecycle: drafting, reviewing, and managing agreements with internal and external stakeholders
• Lead compliance efforts across EU and US jurisdictions, including data protection and internal governance
• Build and evolve scalable legal frameworks, templates, and processes
• Stay ahead of legal developments and translate them into actionable insights for the business
  
  

What We're Looking For

• Fully Qualified German Lawyer (First and Second German State Examinations).
• 5+ years of legal experience, ideally in international law firms or multinational in-house teams
• Experience as General Legal Counsel in a startup or fast-growth environment is a strong plus
• Fluent in German and English
• Independent, proactive work style with strong business acumen
• Interest or background in publishing, advertising, IT contracts, and data protection law
• Bonus: Knowledge of corporate law, governance, and tax matters
