A leading financial services company in Eschborn is seeking a functional architect to enhance their Risk IT system landscape. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in quantitative finance, excellent understanding of market dynamics, and experience in modeling IT systems. You will create functional designs and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure system specifications meet business needs. Proficiency in English is required, and German or Czech is a plus.
Deutsche Börse Group IT is organized as a product organization. Risk IT is part of the Risk Product, which mainly serves the Risk Management department of Eurex Clearing AG, regulated under EMIR, MaRisk etc. Therefore, the services provided by Risk IT must meet several regulatory standards and provide operational stability whilst keeping up with developments in new technology.

Our Functional Architecture team is responsible for evolving the Risk IT system landscape to support business growth initiatives and technical innovation. Working closely with different business and application development teams, our focus is on the end-to-end view of business requirements along the software change management process, understanding their impact and supporting the coordination between the individual Risk IT applications.
We are looking for a functional architect with Quantitative Finance background to join our team in Eschborn who is passionate about finding solutions fitting the Risk IT system landscape, solving problems and who helps us continually improving the functionality of our systems.
