We are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer – Quantum Operations (f/m/d).
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to firmware development, including drivers and real-time systems.
- Develop, maintain, and support software components throughout their lifecycle: from new feature implementation to bug fixing and operational support.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers and physicists to design, test, and optimize software-hardware interactions.
- Work with hardware teams to validate software behavior on physical systems and troubleshoot during setup and operation.
- Debug, profile, and optimize firmware for performance and scalability.
- Implement robust CI/CD pipelines for firmware updates, ensuring quality and operational continuity.
- Apply knowledge of data structures and algorithms to create efficient firmware solutions.
- Document designs, processes, and methodologies for knowledge transfer and compliance.
Required skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with 4+ years of software development experience.
- Proficiency in Python, including web development with Flask and testing with pytest.
- Experience with databases such as MongoDB.
- Familiarity with hardware communication protocols, RTOS, and hardware interaction.
- Experience with GitLab, issue tracking tools, and technical documentation tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate hardware requirements into software solutions.
- Fluent English communication skills.
Valued additional qualifications:
- Master’s degree in computer science or electrical engineering.
- Background in robotics, aviation, or automotive sectors.
- Experience with high-performance computing, quantum systems, or advanced hardware tech.
- Experience with programmatic device control protocols (SCPI, MODBUS, etc.).
- Experience with ARTIQ, oscilloscopes, or emulators for debugging.
