€70,000--€95,000 + significant equity
We're looking for a Full-Stack Engineer to join a growing technology team and take ownership of product features from idea to production.
This is a role for someone who enjoys real ownership, technical autonomy and building products that genuinely make a difference. You'll work closely with the CTO and a small team of experienced engineers, with plenty of influence over architecture, technology choices and how the product evolves.
What you'll do
- Own features end-to-end --- from defining the problem and designing the architecture to implementation, release and post-launch improvements.
- Make independent technical decisions across the stack, from selecting libraries and tools to shaping feature architecture.
- Build and productionise AI-powered functionality, creating reliable systems around probabilistic AI outputs.
- Develop low-latency, real-time features, including WebSockets and live collaboration.
- Contribute to desktop and mobile distribution, including code signing, releases and auto-updates.
- Build and maintain reliable CI/CD processes with traceable test evidence in a regulated healthcare environment.
- Debug, monitor and support production systems across both frontend and backend.
What we're looking forMust-have
- Strong experience with React and TypeScript.
- Solid backend experience, including API design, data modelling, relational databases and asynchronous/background processing.
- A proven track record of shipping and supporting production software.
- Strong full-stack debugging skills and a structured, root-cause-oriented approach to problem solving.
- Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy and ownership without requiring daily technical direction.
- A genuine interest in building products that are intuitive, useful and enjoyable for their users.
- Strong written English and confidence working in an async, distributed environment.
- Typically 5+ years of full-stack engineering experience with real production responsibility.
What will make you successful
You're someone who:
- Takes ownership rather than waiting for instructions.
- Enjoys solving complex problems and figuring things out independently.
- Is curious about AI, technology and the mental-health space.
- Cares about quality and thinks beyond simply getting a feature to work.
- Is comfortable making decisions and taking responsibility for the outcome.
- Communicates clearly and works well in a small, highly collaborative engineering team.
This role may not be for you if...
- Your experience is primarily frontend and you haven't owned backend systems.
- You haven't been responsible for software running in production.
- You prefer close day-to-day management and clearly prescribed tasks.
- Written communication in English is a significant challenge.
What's on offer
