ALTEN Consulting Services GmbH in Germany seeks a software engineer to design, implement, and test software across the full development lifecycle, emphasizing frontend (TypeScript, Angular) and backend (Java, SpringBoot, Python).

You will work with microservices, Docker, and participate in SCRUM-based agile transformation, delivering secure, scalable solutions while collaborating with international teams.

Qualifikationen

• Holds a degree in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification.
• Hands-on development experience in frontend (TypeScript, Angular) and backend (Java, SpringBoot, Python).
• Familiar with microservices architecture and Docker; fluent English; German preferred.

Aufgaben

• Design, implement, and test software across the full development lifecycle based on customer requirements.
• Handle backend development by creating and maintaining server-side logic, databases, and APIs; ensure integration within the EW Ground Support Systems.
• Carry design responsibility to ensure feasible, reusable, secure, and performant interfaces and software.
• Support agile transformation by following SCRUM processes within the company.

• Take on software engineering tasks by
  • designing, implementing, and testing software throughout the entire development lifecycle based on customer requirements
  • ensuring compliance with relevant software and aircraft development standards applicable to the project
• Handle backend development by
  • developing and maintaining server-side logic, databases, and APIs to guarantee seamless data
  • processing and integration within the Electronic Warfare Ground Support Systems
• Carry design responsibility by
  • making sure software and interface designs are feasible, reusable, maintainable, safe, performant, and secure
• Support agile transformation by
  • following the company's internal agile processes based on SCRUM

Qualifications

• Hold a degree in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification
• Bring in-depth hands-on experience as a developer in both front-end (TypeScript, Angular) and back-end development (Java, SpringBoot, Python)
• Are familiar with microservices architecture and Docker
• Have extensive experience with front-end (TypeScript, Angular) and back-end development (Java, SpringBoot, Python)
• Speak fluent English - and ideally very good German
