About the Role

This is a founding Product Designer opportunity at an early-stage, Y Combinator-backed AI voice automation B2B SaaS startup. As the first full-time designer, you'll own the entire design process for an AI-first product used by B2C businesses to automate sales and customer service via intelligent voice agents. You'll work directly with customers, shape core UX decisions, and collaborate closely with engineers to ship high-quality features quickly — laying the design foundation for a rapidly scaling product.

This role is ideal for a pragmatic, fast-moving designer who is excited about building intuitive interfaces in a world where traditional UI patterns don't always apply.

What You'll Do

• Own the end-to-end design process for new features, from discovery through delivery.
• Collaborate directly with customers to understand their needs and translate them into elegant, usable solutions.
• Identify new AI product opportunities, design concepts, and build prototypes in partnership with customers.
• Create intuitive interfaces suited to AI-first workflows where conventional UI paradigms may not fit.
• Work side-by-side with engineers to ship features at pace without sacrificing quality.

What We're Looking For

Must-haves:

• 3+ years of experience on product design teams.
• Proficiency with modern prototyping and design tools including Figma, Lovable, V0, and Figma Make.
• Meaningful touchpoints with AI/LLMs and genuine enthusiasm for building software in an AI-native way.
• Collaborative working style with software engineers; comfortable understanding technical trade-offs and accepting pragmatic implementations.
• Experience conducting customer interviews and/or iterating products based on customer feedback.
• Demonstrable track record of designing products with direct business impact.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across engineering and product.
• Portfolio included with application.

Nice to have:

• Prior experience designing UX/UI for B2B SaaS products, especially at early-stage startups.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-autonomy startup environment.

Location

This role is based on-site in Berlin, Germany. Candidates should be willing and able to work in-person in Berlin. Visa sponsorship is available.
