Taxforce, Berlin's AI-powered tax advisory startup, seeks a Founders Associate Intern to work directly with the founders across M&A and operations. You will take on real responsibility from day one, contributing to deal sourcing, integration, and automation in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate across teams, learn from seasoned founders, and help build AI-driven processes while progressing in a high-ownership, mentoring-focused culture at our office near Boxhagener Platz.

Aufgaben

• Deal sourcing: build and maintain a pipeline of potential acquisition targets from initial research to first outreach.
• Post-merger integration: support onboarding and integration of newly acquired practices.
• Process building and automation: identify manual workflows and build AI-first automations.
• Reporting and controlling: help build and maintain the financial planning infrastructure.
• Investor relations: support preparation of investor updates and board materials.
• Getting things done: run recurring processes and close operational gaps, automating where possible.

Tasks

As a Founders Associate Intern, you'll work directly with the founding team across the operational core of Taxforce, with a focus on M&A and operations, you'll work directly with the founding team. Exemplary taks include**:**

• Deal sourcing: Build and maintain a pipeline of potential acquisition targets, from initial research and screening to first outreach
• Post-merger integration: Support the onboarding and integration of newly acquired practices, from process documentation to cross-firm coordination
• Process building and automation: Identify manual, fragmented workflows and help fix them at the root, building AI-first automations and getting into the tools yourself to make it happen.
• Reporting and controlling: Help build and maintain the reporting and financial planning infrastructure that keeps Taxforce running.
• Investor relations: Support the preparation of investor updates, board materials and internal documentation as we scale.
• Getting things done. Run recurring processes, close operational gaps and take care of the things that simply need to get done, and automate it as you go.

Requirements

• Drive & ambition: You're motivated to go the extra mile and thrive in fast-paced startup environments
• First practical experience: You've gained hands-on experience through internships or working student roles (ideally in Consulting, IB or Tech)
• Strong academic background: You're studying at or have graduated from a well-regarded university or business school
• Analytical mindset: You are able to think logically, break down complex problems and prioritise between multiple tasks on your plate
• Tech-savvy: You're comfortable using AI tools and can implement small automations yourself and you have no problem with learning new tools and skills on the go
• Entrepreneurial mindset: You're excited about building something from scratch and comfortable with ambiguity and rapid iteration
• Collaborative: You are a team player. Working together as a team and sharing knowledge comes naturally to you
• German language skills: We are a fast growing start-up with a diverse team. However, our customers do mostly speak German. Hence we require German language skills.
