Taxfix is seeking an Entrepreneur in Residence to work with C-level leaders and co-create new ventures. You will turn ambiguous ideas into concrete business bets, test them quickly, and scale successful pilots into repeatable growth engines.

Your challenge

At Taxfix, we have democratized tax filing for millions of people. Now, we are building our next major growth engines.

As an Entrepreneur in Residence, you will work directly with our C-level leadership and Management Team to identify, validate, and build new business opportunities. You will take ideas from zero to one and help scale proven businesses from one to one hundred.

This role is designed for an ambitious recent graduate or early-career strategy consultant who wants to move from advising businesses to building them. You will operate with high autonomy, turn ambiguous opportunities into clear choices, and help launch ventures that can become meaningful parts of Taxfix’s future.

Your team

You will join our New Ventures function and work closely with Taxfix’s C-level leadership and Management Team.

Depending on the opportunity, you will collaborate with colleagues across Product, Commercial, Operations, Finance, Legal, and Tax. You will bring the right people together, create clarity in uncertain situations, and drive initiatives from the first hypothesis through validation, launch, and scale.

Your responsibilities

• Identify attractive customer problems and market opportunities through research, customer interviews, competitor analysis, and rapid experimentation.

• Design and run tests to validate customer demand, willingness to pay, commercial viability, and operational feasibility.

• Develop compelling propositions, business models, pricing strategies, unit economics, operating models, and go-to-market plans.

• Move beyond presentations by building prototypes, coordinating pilots, acquiring initial customers, and establishing the foundations for launch.

• Turn validated ventures into scalable businesses by developing repeatable growth engines, robust operating models, strong teams, and performance management systems.

• Translate complex analysis into concise, decision-ready recommendations for the C-level team, Leadership Team, and Board.

• Mobilise colleagues across Product, Commercial, Operations, Finance, Legal, and Tax to move ventures forward.

Your profile

• You have a hands-on builder mentality and do not wait for perfect resources or specialist support.

• You use AI-native tools and vibe coding to rapidly build prototypes, automate workflows, analyse data, and turn ideas into tangible products and experiments - even if you are not a software engineer by training.

• You are a recent graduate from a leading university or business school, such as WHU, HHL, HSG, HEC, ESADE, or a comparable institution; alternatively, you have up to two or three years of experience at a leading strategy consultancy such as McKinsey, BCG, Bain, or a comparable firm.

• You want to build companies, products, or business lines and may aspire to become a founder in the future.

• You can break ambiguous questions down into hypotheses, analyses, experiments, and clear decisions.

• You combine strategic depth with a strong bias for action. You are willing to speak with customers, build a model, test a landing page, or solve an operational bottleneck yourself.

• You understand what creates customer value and can connect it to pricing, unit economics, distribution, and scalable operations.

• You communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.

• You act with pace, resilience, sound judgement, high ownership, and low ego.

• You are fluent in German and English.
