Zusammenfassung

IOI Oleo GmbH is seeking a Formulation Specialist to join the Research & Product Development division at the Witten site on a fixed-term contract for 2 years.

You will be responsible for the (re)formulation of existing and new products, working closely with cross-functional teams across the business units in Pharma, Care & Nutrition, and presenting results at conferences and customer visits.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering, pharmacy, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in pharmaceutical or cosmetics industries.
• Extensive experience in chemical laboratories, especially formulation development.
• Structured, reliable, independent work style in an interdisciplinary, cross-location team.
• Proficiency with MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
• German and English language proficiency (spoken and written).
• Willingness to travel 15–25%.

Formulation Specialist (m/f/d) for the Product Development Division

To strengthen our Research & Product Development department, we are looking for you—initially on a fixed-term contract for 2 years—to start as soon as possible at our Witten production site as a Formulation Specialist.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the further development of existing products and new product development (with a focus on the Pharma, Care, and Nutrition sectors).
• Be responsible for the (re)formulation of our existing and new product developments, working closely with the Business Development, Sales & Marketing departments, as well as the product managers in the Business Pharma, Care & Nutrition business units.
• Present and advocate for your formulation results both internally and externally (e.g., at conferences, trade shows, and during customer visits).
• Collaborate on interdisciplinary as well as national and international R&D projects and take responsibility for individual projects.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering, pharmacy, medicine (or a comparable field).
• At least 2 years of professional experience—ideally in the pharmaceutical and/or cosmetics industry.
• Extensive experience working in chemical laboratories, particularly in formulation development.
• A structured, reliable, and independent work style within an interdisciplinary, cross‑location team.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications (especially PowerPoint, Word, and Excel).
• Confidence in speaking and writing in German and English.
• Willingness to travel frequently (15–25%).
