Sirio Europe, part of the SIRIO Group, is seeking a Formulation Coordinator (m/f/d) to join our R&D team in Pritzwalk, Germany. You will contribute to developing and optimizing health and nutrition products, working with cross-functional teams in an international environment.

Qualifikationen

• Completed degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Nutrition, or a related field.
• Knowledge of food legislation and product specification management is an advantage.
• Proficient in MS Office applications as well as ERP and CRM systems.
• Previous experience in R&D within the food industry is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Support the development of new products from initial design through prototype.
• Contribute to improvement of formulations, recipes, and manufacturing processes.
• Set up and maintain product codes within the manufacturing system and prepare technical documentation.
• Collaborate with Regulatory to ensure compliance with food legislation.
• Review supplier specifications and evaluate/approve new raw materials.
• Process product inquiries and quotations for food supplements and related products.
• Develop stability protocols and analyse stability data for reports.
• Support quality assurance activities and prepare product compliance documentation.
• Provide technical support to Sales during product development.

To strengthen our R&D team, we are looking for a dedicated and motivated Formulation Coordinator (m/f/d) with a passion for product development and innovation to join our team in Pritzwalk, Germany. In this role, you will contribute to the development and optimization of innovative health and nutrition products, working closely with R&D, Regulatory, Quality, Sales, and other cross‑functional teams in an international environment.

This position is based in Pritzwalk, Germany, where our production site is located. Our production facility is based in Brandenburg area, near the beautiful Mecklenburg Lake District, with good connections to Rostock, Hamburg, and Berlin.

The Role/Responsibilities:

• Support the development of new products for customers from initial design through to prototype, in line with the project brief.
• Contribute to the improvement of formulations, recipes, and manufacturing processes, with a focus on quality, efficiency, and cost.
• Set up and maintain product codes within the manufacturing system, and prepare and maintain product specifications and related technical documentation.
• Collaborate with the Regulatory team to ensure compliance with food legislation and other applicable regulatory requirements.
• Review supplier specifications and evaluate, qualify, and approve new raw materials.
• Process product inquiries and quotations for food supplements, FSMPs, medical devices, and pharmaceuticals.
• Develop stability protocols, analyse stability data, and prepare technical reports.
• Support quality assurance activities and prepare product compliance documentation.
• Provide technical support to Sales teams and customers throughout the product development process.

Profile/Requirements:

• Completed degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Nutrition, or a related scientific or technical field.
• Previous experience in Research & Development within the food industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of food legislation and product specification management is an advantage
• Proficient in MS Office applications as well as ERP and CRM systems
• Highly precise, conscientious, and systematic approach to work
• Independent, responsible, and reliable working style
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Confident in presenting technical updates to customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
• Fluency in German and English are required; any other European language is a plus.
