Job summary

persona service AG & Co. KG is seeking a warehouse specialist to operate cranes and forklifts, load and unload goods, and manage stock in a fast-paced industrial environment in Germany.

You will follow safety rules, document goods, and support production lines while maintaining precise control of loads. Applicants should have completed an apprenticeship in warehouse logistics or a comparable field, with basic German skills and a valid work permit.

Qualifications

Job description

You will safely operate indoor, overhead or gantry cranes to transport heavy steel products, pipes or sections within the works Using forklift trucks or heavy-duty forklifts, you load and unload lorries and railway wagons and stock the production lines You pack and pick steel products securely for transport in accordance with customer specifications When selecting hoists and load-handling equipment, you ensure that the appropriate load capacity is used and that the load is secured You check forklift trucks and crane systems for functional and operational safety before starting work You travel along internal transport routes in accordance with the applicable safety and traffic regulations You carefully document incoming and outgoing goods and assist with stock control

You have successfully completed an apprenticeship as a warehouse specialist (m/f/d), warehouse logistics specialist (m/f/d) or in a comparable industrial-technical occupation

Ideally, you will have some initial experience in operating cranes and forklift trucks

You are characterised by a confident approach to handling heavy loads and a sound technical understanding

You work meticulously and maintain a clear overview even when work is moving at a fast pace

You possess physical stamina and a high level of safety awareness

Teamwork and communication skills are among your strengths

Reliability and a responsible approach to operating machinery are second nature to you

You have a basic spoken knowledge of German (minimum level) A valid work permit is required
