Qualifikationen

Food & Beverage Lead Auditor (remote within Germany)

Germany – remote location with coordination based in Essen. As part of DNV Business Assurance’s growing division, we are seeking experienced 3rd‑party auditors with expertise in Food & Beverage management systems and familiarity with IFS, BRCGS and FSSC 22000.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct third‑party certification audits for Food & Beverage customers in accordance with IFS, FSSC or BRCGS standards.
  • Maintain and coordinate audit schedules with customers.
  • Review customer corrective actions and ensure timely closure.
  • Maintain audit credentials and pursue advancement of current and related certifications as required.
  • Communicate changes and clarifications regarding DNV’s Food & Beverage standards to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Resource Management to support auditor qualification and development.
  • Work closely with the Food & Beverage Manager on operational activities and initiatives.
  • Perform any additional responsibilities assigned by management.

Qualifications
  • Degree in a food‑related or bioscience discipline or a higher‑education qualification in a related field.
  • Ideally at least 5 years of work experience in the food industry, specifically in production and technology.
  • Significant experience in quality management and food safety within the food sector.
  • Preferably a Lead Auditor qualification for IFS Food, BRCGS Food, or FSSC 22000 Food.
  • Experience auditing GFSI‑recognised schemes is an advantage.
  • Profound qualification for the standards, preferably with relevant industry authorisation.
  • Very good communication skills.
  • High social competence and strong team‑working ability.
  • Valid European driving licence.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Fluent in both German and English.
