Producers Rice Mill is hiring for a safety sensitive supervisory role. You will supervise staff involved in producing, packing and shipping flour, and may operate forklifts. The job includes basic preventive maintenance and strict adherence to food safety and quality policies.

Qualifikationen

• Able to climb up to 100 feet using catwalks and ladders.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work in hot/cold temperatures, inside/outside the plant.
• Able to work in dusty, noisy environments with rotating equipment.
• Willing to work extended shifts, weekends, and overtime.
• Must follow all safety and food safety rules.

SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION

Schedule:

Rotating 12 hours shifts 7:00p.m. to 7:30 a.m., overtime as needed including weekends, and holidays.

Job Summary

Supervise and assist personnel with all necessary tasks involving producing, packing and shipping flour. May include driving a forklift, telescoping forklift. Perform prescribed preventive maintenance on equipment. Follow food safety, legal, quality, process control policies and regulations. Maintain required company forms and records. Report any defective materials or questionable conditions to the lead operator or a member of management. Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.

Basic Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED
• Must be willing and able to supervise employee(s).
• Must possess basic math skills. (add, subtract, multiply, and divide)
• Must be mechanically inclined, to perform basic maintenance and troubleshoot.
• Must possess basic computer skills.
• Close visual work on PC and controls, determine detail, able to distinguish colors.
• Must be willing and able to climb up to 100 feet using catwalk and ladders.
• Must be willing and able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. 50 feet as needed.
• Must be willing and able to bend, stoop, push, pull, twist, and turn throughout the day.
• Must be willing and able to work in hot and cold temperatures, inside and outside the plant for periods of time. (no climate control)
• Must be willing and able to work in a dust, rotating equipment, noise, and moving lift environment for periods of time.
• Must be willing and able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Must be willing and able to work unsupervised and with others.
• Work extended shifts and weekends as needed.
• Must read, speak, write, and understand the Basic English language.
• Must be willing and able to wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
• Must be willing and able to follow all safety and food safety rules.
• Other duties as requested by manger.
