Lufthansa Aviation Training Pilot Academy GmbH in Rostock-Laage invites experienced military or airline pilots to join as Flight Instructors for single-engine piston aircraft. You will train motivated pilots using FNPT simulators and DA40 aircraft in the IFT Program of the German Airforce, handling pre-flight and post-flight briefings and ensuring safe flight operations.

Applicants should hold an EASA FI(A), CPL(A) with SEP and Instrument Rating, an EASA Class 1 medical, and total flight time

Qualifikationen

• Extensive military or airline flight experience required.
• Flight instructor rating with relevant single-engine piston experience.
• EASA FI(A) and CPL(A) with SEP/Instrument ratings preferred.

Aufgaben

• Train young military flight students on FNPTs and DA40 training aircraft.
• Conduct thorough pre-flight and post-flight briefings for each lesson.
• Perform assessments and maintain flight qualifications and licences.

Tasks:

You will train young and highly motivated military flight students on our state-of- the-art FNPTs and DA40 training aircraft in the IFT Program of the German Airforce.

• Training in accordance with the legal regulations and requirements as well as the instruction by personnel of the LAT PA.
• All necessary preparations for the safe conduct of flight. For each training lesson a thorough pre-flight and post-flight briefing is mandatory.
• Thorough assessments and grading of each training lesson;
• Maintaining of the flying qualification and renewal of the flight licences and ratings.

Requirements:

Extensive experience as a military fixed-wing or airline pilot, holding a Flight Instructor Rating with relevant experience in single-engine piston aircraft training.

Additionally we require:

• EASA Class 1 medical
• EASA CPL(A) with valid SEP and associated Instrument Rating
• EASA FI(A)
• Total Flight Time on aircraft > 1000 hours
• Total Military or Airline Flight Time > 1000 hours
