We are seeking an experienced Firewall Engineer with strong Palo Alto expertise to support design, deployment and migration of security environments across multiple European sites. Aufgaben

• Design, build and deploy Palo Alto firewall environments across multiple European locations.
• Configure and manage firewall initial setup, interfaces, routing, security policies, NAT and zones.
• Implement site-to-site VPNs and secure WAN connectivity.
• Migrate acquired sites onto the Cadence security platform.
• Collaborate with Network Engineers during deployments and cutovers.
• Troubleshoot complex network and security issues.
• Ensure firewall configurations meet security and compliance requirements.
• Produce technical documentation, implementation plans and migration procedures.
• Travel to customer sites across Europe as required.

Our client is undertaking a major European infrastructure transformation programme following an acquisition. As part of the integration, they are building new network and security infrastructure across approximately 10 sites throughout Europe, including Germany, France, Belgium and Italy.

They are seeking an experienced Firewall Engineer with strong Palo Alto expertise to support the design, deployment and migration of new security environments across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build and deploy new Palo Alto firewall environments across multiple European locations.
• Configure and manage FW initial setup, interface configuration, routing, security policies, NAT rules and security zones.
• Implement site-to-site VPNs and secure WAN connectivity.
• Support the migration of acquired sites from legacy infrastructure onto the Cadence security platform.
• Work closely with Network Engineers during site deployments and cutovers.
• Troubleshoot complex network and security issues.
• Ensure firewall configurations align with security and compliance requirements.
• Produce technical documentation, implementation plans and migration procedures.
• Travel to customer sites across Europe as required.
