Abbott Diagnostics Manufacturing is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to partner with Operations and Finance leaders in planning, reporting, costing and continuous improvement for the manufacturing organization.

You will own financial processes, deliver insightful analyses, support budgeting and forecasting, and drive accuracy across SAP and Workday data. Fluency in German and English is required.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• Several years of FP&A, Controlling, Cost Accounting or Manufacturing Finance experience.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing finance, including standard costing and variance analysis.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and business partnering.
• Fluent German and English.

• Lead month-end close activities including journal entries and accruals.

• Develop ROI analyses for capital expenditure and investment cases.

• Maintain financial systems and approval workflows.

Join Abbott Diagnostics Manufacturing and help drive financial performance for a leading global healthcare manufacturer. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will partner with Operations and Finance leaders to provide financial insights, support decision-making, and contribute to the success of our manufacturing organization. Reporting to the FP&A Manager & Controller, you will play a key role in planning, reporting, costing, and continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing business.

What You'll Do

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare financial plans, forecasts and reports (Plan, LBE, and LRP) for P&L, headcount and balance sheet metrics, providing clear variance analysis and business insights.
• Calculate standard costs, activity rates and manufacturing variances, identifying risks, opportunities and recommended actions.
• Partner with manufacturing leadership to support budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling and strategic decision-making.
• Develop detailed financial forecasts using historical trends, current business performance and operational drivers.
• Lead month-end close activities, including journal entries, accrual management, expense analysis and project spend tracking.
• Manage headcount and payroll reporting, ensuring data integrity across SAP and Workday.
• Develop and evaluate capital expenditure business cases, including ROI analysis and investment recommendations.
• Prepare financial reviews and presentations for senior management and support ongoing business performance discussions.
• Maintain financial systems, approval workflows and reporting databases.

• Own assigned financial processes and deliver high-quality, accurate and timely results.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, financial controls, GAAP and internal control requirements.
• Act as a trusted finance business partner, supporting the achievement of operational and financial objectives.
• Prioritize competing demands effectively while meeting key deadlines and reporting requirements.
• Proactively identify issues, recommend solutions and drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain strong organizational, communication and stakeholder management skills.

What You'll Bring

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
• Several years of experience in FP&A, Controlling, Cost Accounting or Manufacturing Finance.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing finance, including standard costing, variance analysis and cost management.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and business partnering.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations.
• Advanced Excel and SAP skills; experience with BI and reporting tools is an advantage.
• Fluent German and English.
• Proactive, collaborative and continuous improvement mindset.
