The Role:

As a Financial Accountant, you'll take ownership of financial reporting and compliance responsibilities across German legal entities. You’ll play a key part in ensuring statutory requirements are met, partnering with internal stakeholders and external auditors, while contributing to a culture of transparency, integrity, and agility.

What You'll Do:

Lead month-end close activities including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and P&L analysis

Prepare statutory financial statements under German GAAP and IFRS

Support external audits and ensure timely completion of statutory obligations

Assist in the preparation of tax and VAT returns, and reconcile related accounts

Handle Accounts Payable and serve as the point of contact for T&E queries

Collaborate with the payroll team and support payroll postings and reviews

Contribute to ongoing legal entity rationalization projects

Requirements

What You Bring:

Minimum 3 years’ experience in accounting or financial reporting

Strong knowledge of German GAAP, IFRS, and internal controls

Experience with VAT, tax accounting, and audit preparation

Fluency in English (German is a plus)

Meticulous attention to detail and an analytical mindset

A hands-on, collaborative approach with the ability to meet tight deadlines
