• Verantwortung für Kreditoren- und Debitorenbuchhaltung im festgelegten Bereich
• Bearbeiten und Überwachen von Zahlungsvorgängen
• Bearbeitung von Reisekostenabrechnungen
• Vorbereitung von Umsatzsteuervoranmeldungen, EC-Umsatzlisten und Statistiken
• Mitwirkung an Monats- und Jahresabschlüssen
• Unterstützung bei Prozessdesign und -implementierung
• Zusammenarbeit mit Controlling bei relevanten Analysen

About the Role

As a Financial Accountant, you manage accounts payable, accounts receivable and payment transactions in our DACH Finance Team in Görlitz and contribute to the monthly and annual financial statements, ensuring reliable figures and closings that are delivered on time.

The position can be filled hybrid at our Görlitz site, either full-time or part-time from 25 hours a week.

Responsibilities

• You take responsibility for accounts payable and accounts receivable in a defined area, including order administration and invoicing.

• In doing so, you process and monitor payment transactions.

• Checking and posting travel expense claims falls within your area of responsibility.

• You prepare advance VAT returns, EC sales lists and statistics.

• In addition, you contribute to the monthly and annual financial statements.

• As our company structure keeps growing, you support us in designing and implementing processes.

• In close collaboration with our controlling team, you compile the relevant analyses.

Qualifications

• You have successfully completed commercial training or a degree, ideally with a focus on accounting, tax or finance.

• Confident use of MS Office, and of Excel in particular, is part of your daily routine.

• Ideally, you bring solid user knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP B1. That is a plus, not a prerequisite.
