We are seeking an experienced and motivated Finance Team Leader to oversee key transactional finance functions within our financial services client's organisation. This is a hands‑on leadership role, responsible for managing day‑to‑day finance operations while leading and developing a high‑performing team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the finance team covering Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, and Accounting
  • Oversee daily finance operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements
  • Monitor and manage the credit control function, including customer credit risk, collections, and dispute resolution
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of AP and AR transactions
  • Support month‑end and year‑end close processes, including reconciliations and reporting
  • Review financial data, identify issues, and drive process improvements
  • Act as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders, auditors, and external partners
  • Coach, mentor, and develop team members, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
Your Profile
  • Proven experience in a finance leadership or supervisory role, ideally within automotive manufacturing
  • Strong working knowledge of AP, AR, credit control, and general accounting
  • Experience managing and developing finance teams
  • Solid understanding of financial controls, compliance, and regulatory standards
  • Proactive, hands‑on approach with strong problem‑solving skills
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • High level of accuracy, reliability, and attention to detail
  • Strong IT and Excel skills; experience with finance systems/ERPs is an advantage
  • Fluent in English
