Merz Aesthetics, an independent, globally active company in aesthetic medicine, is seeking a Finance Operations professional in Frankfurt. The role focuses on daily financial operations, reporting, KPI tracking and SAP S/4HANA-related testing within a dynamic, cross-functional environment.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in finance/accounting and 3+ years of experience in finance, with strong knowledge of ERP processes, internal controls and continuous improvement.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• +3 years of experience in accounting, finance operations, financial analysis, or similar finance role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial processes, internal controls and process flows.
• Hands-on experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger Accounting, or Controlling.
• Experience in ERP-based finance environments, ideally SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience supporting system implementations, finance transformation initiatives, process improvement projects, or testing activities.
• Ability to create and execute test cases, assess business processes, and analyze system outputs.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills; proactive improvement mindset.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with business and IT stakeholders.

Aufgaben

• Support daily finance operations, financial reporting, KPI tracking and ad hoc analyses; identify trends and suggest actions to boost performance.
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end and year-end closings; consolidate financial results for management reporting.
• Develop and document test scenarios for SAP S/4HANA finance processes from an end-user perspective.
• Identify process gaps, defects and improvement opportunities; support new finance process implementations.
• Coordinate issue resolution with cross-functional project teams; provide structured feedback for system optimization.
• Support User Acceptance Testing and contribute to business sign-off processes.
• Create and maintain process documentation, test scripts and user guidelines for knowledge transfer.
• Drive finance process improvements and standardization initiatives; contribute to transformation projects.
• Act as liaison between Finance, IT and project stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration.
• Support additional finance and project-related activities as needed.

This role is initially limited to 24 months.

The following responsibilities are awaiting you:

• You support daily finance operations, financial reporting, KPI tracking, and ad hoc analyses while identifying trends and recommending actions to improve business performance.
• You assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities and consolidate financial results for management reporting.
• You execute and document test scenarios for SAP S/4HANA finance processes and evaluate system functionalities from an end-user perspective.
• You validate business requirements, identify process gaps, defects, and improvement opportunities, and support the successful implementation of new finance processes.
• You coordinate issue resolution with cross-functional project teams and provide structured feedback to support continuous system optimization.
• You support User Acceptance Testing activities and contribute to business sign-off processes.
• You create and maintain process documentation, test scripts, and user guidelines to ensure knowledge transfer and process consistency.
• You drive finance process improvements, support standardization initiatives, and contribute to finance transformation projects.
• You act as a key liaison between Finance, IT, and project stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
• You support additional finance and project-related activities as required.

What we expect from you:

• You hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, or bring equivalent professional experience.
• You have +3 years of experience in accounting, finance operations, financial analysis, or a comparable finance function.
• You possess a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial processes, internal controls, and process flows.
• You have hands‑on experience in areas such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger Accounting, or Controlling.
• You have experience working in ERP‑based finance environments, ideally with SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA.
• You have supported system implementations, finance transformation initiatives, process improvement projects, or testing activities.
• You are confident in creating and executing test cases, evaluating business processes, and analyzing system outputs.
• You demonstrate strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills with a proactive and continuous improvement mindset.
• You communicate effectively and collaborate successfully with both business and technical stakeholders.
