Proclinical is seeking a Finance Business Partner to support the integration of a newly acquired entity. In this role, you will act as the sole finance representative on-site, providing both strategic and operational financial support to the plant leadership team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial performance and growth of the organization while working closely with cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary financial advisor to the plant leadership and management team.
• Prepare and present plant performance reports for global business leadership.
• Analyze production cost drivers and support cost‑efficiency initiatives.
• Lead financial reviews with stakeholders across manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and engineering.
• Provide financial insights for business cases, investment proposals, and cost‑saving initiatives.
• Coordinate annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long‑range financial planning.
• Develop and maintain costing models for standard costs and cost centre planning.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, group finance policies, and audit requirements.
• Support internal and external audits related to the plant.
• Act as the local process owner for financial transactions and drive process improvements.
• Collaborate with IT and finance teams to optimise ERP system usage.
• Oversee monthly and year‑end closings, ensuring accurate financial submissions.
• Maintain fixed asset registers and oversee inventory accounting, including valuation and provisions.
• Monitor and analyse production variances, propose corrective actions, and track implementation.
• Liaise with central finance teams and participate in cross‑plant finance initiatives.

Key Skills and Requirements

• Strong experience in plant controlling, general ledger accounting, and business partnering.
• Proficiency in Power BI or similar dashboarding tools.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP.
• Excellent relationship‑building and communication skills.
• Proactive and autonomous approach to work.
• Professional proficiency in German and English.
• Willingness to work on‑site at least three days per week.
