Andercore in Berlin is seeking a finance-focused intern/working student to assist in preparing financial statements, analyze data, and maintain records across AP/AR and tax filings. You will collaborate with Growth, Operations, and Tech teams.

The ideal candidate is currently enrolled or recently graduated in Finance/Accounting/Economics, fluent in English and German, with strong Excel skills and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset in a fast-paced environment.

What you will do

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

• Support financial analysis efforts by gathering and analyzing financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

• Help maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.

• Support the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions by processing invoices, payments, and receipts.

• Assist in the preparation of tax filings and compliance activities, including gathering supporting documentation and completing forms.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Growth, Operations, Tech) to support financial projects and initiatives as needed.

Who you are

• Currently enrolled (or recently graduated) in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.

• Excellent English and German skills

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and draw meaningful insights.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.

• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
