Real-Time Innovations (RTI) is seeking an experienced technical sales engineer to support Aerospace & Defense customers in the EMEA region. You will work with the regional Account Manager to drive growth, design architectures, and present RTI technology value to prospects.

The role requires strong C/C++ development skills, pre-sales engagement experience, and the ability to travel 20–40% with on-site work. English proficiency and EU citizenship for security clearance are essential.

Qualifikationen

• BS or higher in a technical field, MS preferred.
• Ability to travel ~20-40% and on-site work required.
• 5+ years in A&D in a technical role (incl. N-GVA/GVA, avionics or naval systems).
• Strong understanding of OS and networking concepts (UDP, Multicast, OSI Layer, routing, VLANs).
• C/C++ development expertise and understanding of SDLC processes.
• Excellent presentation and written communication skills in English.
• Experience designing high-level technical solutions based on customer requirements.
• Experience in a customer-facing role.
• EU Citizenship required to meet security clearance and data access protocols.

RTI is seeking someone that will help support our Aerospace & Defense customers in the EMEA territory. You will be working closely with the Account Manager in the region to help drive growth of our products and services.

We are looking for a team player who is self-motivated, comfortable operating without day-to-day direction and eager to work with customers as they shape the future of A&D technology.

What You’ll Do / Responsibilities

Achieving Annual Sales Quota:

• Create compelling presentations that convey RTI technology value & benefits to prospects.
• Organize and execute detailed Proof-of-Concept engagements and build compelling software demos using RTI products.
• Support product proposals to align with customer requirements including RFP/RFQ responses.

Achieving customer satisfaction:

• Work closely with internal teams to coordinate resources to resolve customer’s pre-sales technical blockers and to respond to RFPs.
• Coordinate and document customer technical requirements with Product Management for continuing product evolution for EMEA market requirements.

Increasing the sales pipeline:

• Work closely with Account management to develop sales strategies.
• Periodically create technical articles for publication showing RTI Technology and Business value.
• Attend tradeshows and events to give presentations and man booths to raise awareness about our product.

What We’re Looking For / Requirements

• BS or higher in technical field, MS preferred.
• Ability to Travel (~20-40%) and on-site work is required to achieve job objectives.
• 5+ years in A&D Industry in a technical role (including, for example, experience with N-GVA/GVA, Avionics systems, Naval systems or similar A&D related networking technology).
• Strong understanding of OS (e.g. Threading, etc) and networking concepts (E.g. UDP, Multicast, OSI Layer switching, routing, VLANs).
• C/C++ development expertise and understanding of SDLC processes.
• Excellent presentation skills, coupled with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate with customers and internal stakeholders in English.
• Experience designing a high-level technical solution/architecture based on customer requirements.
• Experience working in a customer facing role.
• EU Citizenship required*

• Experience in communication middleware or protocols, e.g., DDS, MQTT, etc.
• Strong understanding of messaging and communication patterns.
• Expertise in a specific A&D Domain (E.g. N-GVA, Avionics, etc).
• Embedded system experience (Software Development, Debugging etc).
• Python/Java/.NET development expertise.
• Knowledge about Hypervisors, Virtualization.
• Knowledge about Cloud-Native architecture (Containers, Web Services etc).
• Knowledge about current trends in the Automotive Industry.
