Ralliant is seeking an on-site Failure Analysis Engineer in Germany to identify root causes of failures in electronic products and assemblies. The role involves performing analyses on devices, PCBs, and components, conducting electrical measurements, and collaborating with Engineering, Production, Suppliers, and Quality teams to drive quality improvements.

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field; alternatively, relevant technician-level qualification with experience
• Experience in electronics failure analysis, quality/repair engineering, or electronics development
• Good understanding of analog and digital circuits
• Hands-on experience with electronic measurement and test equipment
• Knowledge of PCB technology, electronic components, and manufacturing processes
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Structured, self-driven, and detail-oriented

As a Failure Analysis Engineer, you will identify root causes of failures on electronic products and assemblies, driving sustainable quality improvements across our power electronics portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform failure analyses on electronic devices, PCBs, assemblies, and components

• Conduct electrical measurements using laboratory and test equipment

• Analyze circuits, schematics, BOMs, and technical documentation

• Identify root causes using structured methods such as 8D, 5 Why, and FMEA

• Define and support corrective and preventive actions

• Prepare technical reports and present findings to stakeholders

• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Production, Suppliers, and Quality teams

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field; alternatively, relevant technician-level qualification with experience
