Huawei Research Center Germany in Munich seeks an experienced RF Switch Expert to lead design and development in RF-SOI and MEMS switches. You will contribute to experimental validation, simulations, and process innovations in a highly collaborative, cross-disciplinary team.

The role requires senior expertise, strong communication, and willingness to travel to China to align on technology and strategic engineering projects.

Qualifikationen

• MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years in SOI RF Switch design, or 5+ years in MEMS RF Switch development.
• Hands-on RF Switch technology development or performance improvement.
• Able to work in a multidisciplinary team with good communication.
• Able to travel to China.

Innovative Research and Development in RF-SOI and RF MEMS Switch:

• Improving insertion loss and harmonic performance of switches through innovative circuit design.


• Reducing switch size via advanced circuit design without performance degradation.


• Conceptual design, structural simulation, and patenting of RF MEMS switches.


• Development of high-reliability contact materials to achieve switching lifetimes of one billion cycles or more.


• Key process development for RF MEMS switches, including sacrificial layer techniques

Your areas of expertise

• MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering or equivalent background.


• 10+ years of experience on SOI RF Switch design, or 5+years of experience on MEMS RF Switch development.


• Hands on experience of RF Switch technology development or RF Switch performance improvement.


• Should be able to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team with good communication skills.


• Should be able to travel to China.
