Zusammenfassung

Exyte is seeking a seasoned procurement professional to lead tendering, negotiation, and award of subcontract and supply contracts for multi-million euro projects. You will drive commercial evaluations, execute contracts, and manage subcontracts with a focus on risk control and timely delivery.

Experience in EPC/EPCm project environments, strong German and English language skills, and travel willingness are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Completed degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; alternatively, a commercial qualification/training plus relevant experience.
• Several years' experience in project management on large-scale projects, preferably in construction or plant engineering.
• Understanding of project execution models (EPC, EPCM) is advantageous.
• Very good IT skills, particularly MS Office and ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA, SAP Ariba, RIB iTWO).
• Knowledge of contracts per VOB, BGB or HOAI is a plus.
• Fluent German and good written/spoken English.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel nationally with on-site work where needed.
• Excellent communication, resilience under pressure, decisiveness and change adaptability.

• Negotiation and execution of contracts; commercial management of subcontracts.

• Regular collaboration with Project Management and internal departments to ensure smooth project execution.
• Continuous process optimization and implementation of lessons learned.
• Regular reporting to the Project Procurement Manager.

• Commercial evaluation of subcontractor bids and preparation of well-founded award recommendations.
• Negotiation and execution of contracts.
• Commercial management of subcontracts.
• Monitoring and performance tracking of subcontractors.
• Identification of risks and performance deviations through proactive planning and close stakeholder communication.
• Review, evaluation, and management of change orders and claims.
• Close collaboration with the Project Management team and internal departments to ensure smooth project execution.
• Continuous process optimization through regular feedback and the implementation of lessons learned.
• Regular reporting to the Project Procurement Manager.

• Several years' experience in project management in large-scale projects, preferably in the construction or plant engineering industry.
