INERATEC GmbH is seeking an Expert in Fuel Technology & Product Certification to oversee the development and market readiness of e-fuels. This role will handle the end-to-end product portfolio including e-SAF, e-Diesel, e-Naphtha, and e-Wax. Key responsibilities include working closely with Sales, Operations, R&D, and external partners. The ideal candidate has a degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering and several years of experience in fuels, along with strong German and English communication skills. As an Expert (m/f/d) in Fuel Technology & Product Certificationf or e-fuels , you will take responsibility for our products from the initial idea through to market readiness. Your focus will be on e-wax and e-naphtha, while also making key contributions in the areas of e-SAF and e-diesel. You can expect a cross-functional role with significant creative freedom at the interface between technology and the market.

• End-to-end responsibility for the product portfolio (e-SAF, e-Diesel, e-Naphtha, e-Wax) – from definition and specification to certification and application
• Technological development of e-Wax and e-Naphtha, including sharpening positioning, specifications, and application opportunities
• Ownership of the product roadmap and transfer of pilot and demonstration learnings into scalable products
• Definition of upgrading strategies, interfaces, certifications, and blending logics together with internal and external partners
• Acting as the technical point of contact for customers as well as internal and external stakeholders, while supporting Sales with in-depth product expertise
• Close collaboration with Sales, Operations, R&D, and external partners

Your profile

• A degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or a related discipline
• Several years’ experience in the field of fuels, petrochemicals or related products
• Proven track record in the certification of fuels in terms of sustainability and technical compliance
• Good knowledge of jet fuel/SAF and, ideally, also of diesel or speciality products
• Experience of working with various stakeholders and external partners
• A structured, pragmatic approach to work and a strong understanding of the product
• Very good written and spoken German and English
