T-Systems International GmbH is seeking an Expert Architect (m/f/d) for Backend in T Cloud Public to shape and extend a secure, scalable Open Telekom Cloud platform across Europe. You’ll drive architecture, automation and cloud-native features while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a flexible, modern setup.

Requirements include a technical degree or equivalent training, 5+ years in IT with cloud focus, Linux expertise, and fluency in English or German.

Qualifications

• Completed studies in a technical, engineering or scientific subject or comparable professional training.
• 5 years of professional IT experience focusing on modern cloud technologies.
• Strong knowledge of software-, cloud- and container-architectures.
• Experience in infrastructure automation.
• In-depth knowledge of Linux, system tools and networking services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and extend the Open Telekom Cloud platform architecture with a focus on security and cloud-native features.
• Automate platform operations with common automation frameworks.
• Be a trusted advisor for OpenStack-based public cloud technology.
• Hands-on work to back architectural decisions and designs.
• Mentor colleagues and present architectural concepts to stakeholders.
