Villeroy & Boch Group is seeking a BI & Analytics professional to refine analytics requirements, develop ETL pipelines, and craft user-friendly frontend BI solutions across SAC, AfO, and Google Data Studio. You will collaborate with business users to align platform concepts with reporting needs, while maintaining governance across BW4/HANA and Datasphere.

Expertise in SAP BI, data modeling, and cloud-based analytics is essential.

Qualifikationen

• Educational background in (Business) Informatics, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Business Administration with a quantitative/technical focus.
• Ability to model processes (BPMN 2.0) and perform data-driven analysis.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining ETL processes in SAP BI ecosystem (BW4/HANA, Datasphere, SAC, Analysis for Office).

• Requirement Engineering & Consulting: refine analytics requirements with business users and define solution pathways aligned with platform concept.
• Backend & ETL Development: create and maintain robust ETL processes and BI artifacts in SAP BW4/HANA, Datasphere, and Google Cloud BigQuery.
• Frontend Development: design and maintain front-end apps in SAC, AfO, and Google Data Studio.
• Administration & Support: monitor applications and manage users in BW4/HANA and Datasphere; support legacy BI systems until decommissioning.
• Enablement & Documentation: train employees on SAC and AfO; maintain data catalog and dashboard finder with AI tooling.

Your Tasks

• Requirement Engineering & Consulting: Fine-tuning reporting and analytics requirements directly with business users and defining the best solution pathways in alignment with the platform concept.
• Backend & ETL Development: Creating and maintaining robust ETL processes, including all necessary BI artifacts in SAP BW4/HANA, SAP Datasphere, and Google Cloud BigQuery.
• Frontend Development: Designing and maintaining user-friendly frontend applications in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Analysis for Office (AfO), and Google Data Studio.
• Administration & Support: Performing application monitoring and user management in BW4/HANA and SAP Datasphere (as well as supporting legacy V&B BI systems until they are decommissioned).
• Enablement & Documentation: Training employees on how to effectively use reporting tools (SAC and Analysis for Office) and ensuring efficient and up-to-date documentation in the data catalog and dashboard finder, utilizing AI tools where applicable.

Your Profile

• Educational Background: Completed studies in (Business) Informatics, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Business Administration with a quantitative and technical focus.
• Analytical Prowess: Excellent analytical skills, quick comprehension, and structured presentation of complex business and technical contexts.
• Experience with process modeling (BPMN 2.0) and data-driven analysis.
• BI Technical Expertise: Strong hands-on experience in building and maintaining ETL processes and front-end applications within the SAP BI ecosystem (BW4/HANA, Datasphere, SAC, Analysis for Office).
• S/4HANA Process Knowledge: Deep understanding of core processes in at least two connected S/4HANA modules to ensure the implementation of efficient, business-oriented End-to-End BI solutions.
• Modern BI & Cloud Stack: Experience with modern data environments, specifically Google Cloud BigQuery and Google Data Studio, is highly valuable.
• Key Competencies: Fluency in English, strong problem-solving skills, proactivity, assertiveness, and experience with project and change management methodologies.
• Fluency in German is a Plus.
